What is the cost of our digital dependency? This is the question that Death by Design sets out to answer, telling a global story of how our devices change our lives and the planet in more ways than we can see. Hidden beneath the shiny release of the latest mobile phone or laptop are mountains of e-waste, health tragedies, and environmental degradation. This is a film that should inspire a new generation of designers and engineers to put sustainability at the forefront of their practice.
