Of all things why? To put a collection of recipes? Most are just redone of a recipe that was out before.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">Established around the same time we began to have a middle class, how did this play a role?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">Culturally cookbooks are very different, like some international students we know, they rarely use a recipe. What are the differences in some cultures?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">What characteristics make up the ideal female cook as cooking moved from the private to the public sphere over time?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">How is group identity developed through taste and cooking?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">How did the establishment of the middle class and new technologies impact home life?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">Who was really the target audience of the cookbooks? slaves or homeowners?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0.05em;\">\u201cWhat might be considered \u201csoul food\u201d has indeed changed from its inception.\u201d If this is true, what do traditional southern restaurants serve?
