One thing that is always fascinating is when interests crossover. \u00a0Bloggers have the opportunity to mesh their interests and hobbies with their main product. \u00a0YouTube is a popular meeting place for bloggers and some have had the advantage to become successful through YouTube. Two (semi)famous YouTube bloggers are the Fowler sisters. \u00a0Elle and Blair Fowler have built up a beauty empire with the YouTube. \u00a0Currently they have have a cellphone case line, a makeup line, book series, and contracts with multiple beauty and fashion companies. The collective total of subscribers for their makeup channels on YouTube is currently 2,852,309.<\/p>\n

While the Fowler sisters have a successful career as beauty bloggers online, they have the opportunity to bring new products and ideas to their viewers. \u00a0One way that both of the sisters have melded their career with their private hobbies is by making the occasional cooking video. \u00a0Blair Fowler (the younger sister) makes cooking videos that feature either her own recipes or recipes that were her grandmothers. \u00a0The sisters have not only created a business, but they manage to remain on a more relatable level with their viewers and fans. \u00a0The cooking videos offer a more relaxed view of the sisters.<\/p>\n

Sometimes when people try to step out of their field, the experiment to try a new thing fails. \u00a0The cooking videos that are created by Blair and Elle are actually good videos. \u00a0In the videos, you can tell that both sisters (Blair more so than Elle) are precise people. \u00a0Cooking is a personal experience that varies from person to person. \u00a0Each individual experiences and handles cooking in a different manner, and the Fowlers’ cooking videos offer others the chance to see a personal side of the sisters.<\/p>\n

Blair’s videos range from her grandmother’s recipe for an apple pie<\/a>, to a video about how to make a Valentine’s Day brunch<\/a>. \u00a0Elle has made videos that show her healthy grocery shopping “haul” to how to make homemade granola<\/a> or high protein snacks<\/a>. \u00a0The diversity in interests between the two sisters is a parallel experience that shows how cooking is being viewed as a lifestyle experience more so than a single activity.
