Initially, I began my search by going to indesignsecrets.com with the intent to figure out how to automate checkboxes. While working on the cookbook recreation, the page I was working with had checkboxes to list off things that would be needed in the picnic basket. Usually there were only two or three things listed so I’m assuming it wouldn’t be to awful to manually insert those. I, on the other hand want to use the checkboxes more often and would like to incorporate them as ingredient listers. For this reason, I definitely want to make this an automated process. After finding the first link, (http://indesignsecrets.com/topic/automatic-checkboxes) I stumbled across another user who suggested that rather than using bullets or checkboxes, there is the possibility if making a new bullet style all together. I’m pretty sure now that I’d like to make my own custom bullet thanks to this tutorial (http://indesignsecrets.com/creating-a-custom-bullet-or-character-with-indyfont.php)!
