There are two things that have always inspired me: food and photography. My inspirations led me to Vanessa Rees’ website, which offers recipes and photographs of those recipes prepared. Rees won the 2013 Savuer Best Food Blog Award for her flawless photography. While her Facebook page contains hundreds of photos, the blog portfolio showcases her best quality work. The photos seem crystal clear and she attributes most of that to her meticulous lighting. A hidden page on her blog site contains an over view of her equipment and an extensive post on artificial lighting – which I find just as intriguing as the food.
