Infamous tweezer food, the recent face of “rich people” food. While it normally has had bad connotations from anyone who doesn’t see why a bite sized meal should cost anything more than a few bucks, Josh Ozersky, the author of the blog postĀ The Hidden Ventures of Tweezer Food, offers a new view.

For those chefs who are working outside of the box and creating new types of master dishes, the use of tweezers is critical in placing elements where they work best. The focus is not on minute perfect placement, but on the correct flavors and textures in the exact place needed. Tweezer food might not be so bad.
