Along with the rise in the popularity of canning, growing and catching your own food in the last few years, recipes and cookbooks have been popping up from all over that allow you to bring your cooking into the woods. For example, a website called Dirty Gourmet alters gourmet recipes so that they can be cooked while camping, hiking or otherwise. What blogs and cookbooks like these are doing are taking traditional, published recipes and altering them in a way so that they can be made outdoors; thus, the recipes become more dynamic. Never thought you would eating orange tofu stir-fry on the go, huh?
