As We Forgive

( Laura Waters Hinson, 2008)

As We ForgiveHow does one go about forgiving the unforgivable? This is the central question of Laura Waters Hinson's documentary. When Rwandan President Paul Kagame began releasing untried murderers who confessed their crimes, the roads of Rwanda were filled with ex-prisoners. Some began seeking the forgiveness of those they had harmed. Hinson follows two Rwandan women who attempt to forgive the men who slaughtered their families. Narrated by Mia Farrow. (53 min.)
