Turntable Kitchen– The marriage between food and music
I am at my finest when I’m entertaining my tastebuds and listening to melodic beats from my earbuds. The two paired together is genius. Turntable Kitchen , is founded by San Francisco Kasey Fleisher and Matthew Hickey. The aim for Turntable Kitchen is to introduce food lovers to music and vice versa. This is accomplished by “Lastest in Food,” recipes made from local (San Fran) and fresh ingredients, and “Latest in Music,” showcasing underground music.
I am very intrigued by Turntable Kitchen’s concept to join together music and food. These are two things that go together when entertaining guests, and they are two things that are very cultural and historical. The Pairings Box is a beautiful concept, not only does it offer a taste of the San Francisco lifestyle, but it goes beyond Internet sharing.
